VLOG is proud to offer one of the best deals on theatre ticket prices in town, but ticket sales alone do not begin to cover our costs. Now more than ever, we find ourselves facing the same challenges as many other theatres and non-profits. That is, we are truly struggling to keep up with essential expenses that increase faster than our ability to generate revenue.

For instance, our theatre rent, one of our largest single expenses, has increased by more than 30% over the past few years. Also, while renting our Dewar Center space on Leonard Street to other companies and groups can provide a steady stream of income to help offset our mortgage and maintenance costs, we have seen a drop-off in rental clients during this current volatile economy.
